Arpeggio project selected for an AIA NY Design Award

The design of Ernie Davis Hall at Syracuse University has been honored with an AIA NY 2016 Design Award!

Arpeggio consulted with the architect, Mack Scogin Merill Elam, on the acoustic design of this 128,000 gross square foot facility with housing for 240 students, a 500-seat dining hall, recreation facility, multipurpose room, gathering space, and other academic spaces. Our services focused on sound isolation, building systems noise and vibration control, and room acoustics for each space, including the multi-level dining space that featured extensive use of concrete and glass, two acoustically challenging finishes!

The project will be on view at the Center for Architecture in the 2016 Design Awards exhibition.
