Corey A. Taylor
Corey Taylor joined Arpeggio after receiving his Masters of Engineering in Acoustics from The Pennsylvania State University’s Graduate Program in Acoustics. While at Penn State University he dove deeper into architectural acoustics, outdoor sound propagation and virtual audio. His work includes an in-depth acoustical analysis on the physics of acoustic guitars.
Prior to his graduate degree, Corey worked for Metropolitan Acoustics where his focus was assisting in the design of performance spaces as well as high rise residential, office, and commercial buildings. He has also helped several schools meet their acoustical requirements in order to achieve LEED certification. He has performed numerous acoustical tests on existing structures to examine such issues as International Building Code (IBC) compliance.
In addition to his work and education, Corey is also a trained musician, audio engineer and is an active member of the Acoustical Society of America and the Audio Engineering Society.
